Mike Acker began writing his first book in 2007 as part of his Master’s program in leadership. At the time, his aspirations of becoming an author stalled when traditional publishers declined his proposals. Speaking and leadership opportunities took center stage, and writing moved to the background for more than a decade.

That changed when a speaking client and bestselling author challenged him to turn his coaching frameworks into books.

What followed was a deep immersion into the publishing world, including extensive study, mentorship, conferences, and advanced programs focused on authorship, messaging, and distribution. Over time, this led to the publication of several books through Advantage Publishing Group, including the top-rated Speak with No Fear, as well as a major publishing partnership with Wiley for Speak with Confidence.

Along the way, many thought leaders sought guidance not only on writing, but on clarifying their ideas, strengthening their message, and using authorship to extend influence and impact.
